Why I Love Playing Poker Online?

Playing at many poker rooms, I have come to understand the significance of finding good poker rooms that are not just money-making schemes. At some places, I have had to play blackjack and even slots just because I couldn't find a spare table. So, take it from me when I say that to really enjoy poker, you should look for those casinos that offer the best of both.

Find such casinos and poker rooms by using any of the above sites. You can also use tips and other books that will help you win more money. Rely not only on luck but also on your own skill.

Beware!

There aren't any foolproof winning systems! Yes - you can tilt the odds in your favour if you play rationally, shrewdly, cleverly and mathematically but don't believe all those sites that guarantee foolproof ways to win by just buying their book, practicing their methods and winning big. You should always keep in mind that if these "fool-proof" methods worked, their authors would be using it to make millions!

Top 10 Poker Tips

Would you like to read the top 10 poker tips from players around the world? These tips will help improve your poker and turn you into a better player. Professional players from around the globe have contributed to this list and you should regard it likewise.
  1. Do not Play Every Hand. One of the most common mistakes a beginner can make is playing all of your starting hands. The Worlds best players only play around 20 to 30 percent of them. Playing just the higher valued hands helps to weed out the lucky players.
  2. Know When to Play the Hand, and When to Lay Down the Hand. The term folding does not mean to actually bend the cards, it means you do not have a good hand or suspect someone else has a better hand so you decide not to play out the hand. Folding a bad hand will help you save money for when you have better cards.
  3. Try to Pick Players Who are Less Experienced at Poker Then You Are. Remember chances are the reason you are playing poker is to win money. Always play the tables with betting limits and keep moving down the limits until you find one with players who you feel have less poker experience then you this should help you win more often.
  4. Watch the Other Players Behaviors. Especially when you are not playing a hand, it is recommended to pay attention to the habits of the other Poker players. Learn there betting patterns. Latter on in the poker game this will give you the advantage by letting you know your opponent may or may not be bluffing.
  5. Defensive Betting. Sometimes having the best hand is not always the best reason to bet. Sometimes betting can be used as a defensive tool in poker, maybe it will get a player to question the strength of his hand, and not to bet as big as he was going to. Maybe he will reveal his hand was not as strong as you first thought.
  6. Use Reasoning to Figure out your Opponents Hands. Once you have become skilled in tips 4 and 5 it is time to use that information to your advantage. Think about how you opponent is betting and maybe you will figure out why he is betting that way. Always ask yourself why he has done what he did, maybe on a previous hand with somewhat similar cards he was betting strong and now he is betting small. This could imply maybe his cards are not as strong as you had thought, maybe he has a bad kicker or maybe he fears you have a better hand then it might appear.
  7. The Bluff and the Semi Bluff. When done correctly bluffing can be a powerful tool in poker. A common mistake a new poker player may make is to over bluff. The difference between the bluff and the semi bluff is, when bluffing you usually do not have a winning hand. The semi bluff is used when you have a hand that could win depending on the next card drawn.
  8. Change your Patterns. Just as you are trying to learn about your opponents, they are trying to learn about you. Try to change up your patterns as much as you can. Do not just wait for the good hands, because others will se you doing this. Sometimes play a lesser hand to make your patterns harder to see.
  9. Position at the Table. Position at the poker table is a very important thing. The best position is the dealers, because he is the last to act giving him the advantage of seeing who has folded who has called and who has raised the bet. Just as the dealer has the best position the player to his left has the worst position. He has no idea what the others are going to do, therefore he cannot use anything but his own intuition on what he should do next.
  10. Read books and take notes. There is a wide verity of books out there for a person interested in improving there poker game. Take notes on what you have learned and tried, and eventually you will develop a style all your own and maybe one day someone will be asking you for your poker tips.
