Caesars Atlantic City had announced two performances by Donna Summer. The Queen of Disco will perform at Caesars Circus Maximus Theater on July 14 and 15 at 9 pm. A ticket will cost 100 dollars.
Donna Summer started singing already as a child in her church choir and in local choruses around Boston. Her first stage performances took place in Germany in various musical productions such as Hair, Godspell, Porgy and Bess and Showboat.
Donna Summer first hit single Love to Love You Baby was the main reason for her return to the States. The hit was followed by an Academy award for singing the theme song Last Dance. Her signing up with Geffen Records in 1980 was an attempt to put an end to her reputation as the Queen of Disco.
Caesars Circus Maximus Theater has been hosting some of the hottest name in the music business as well as main sports events. The 1,100-seat Circus Theatre will host Donna Summer for couple of performances during mid July.
