New York Yankees Star Alex Rodriguez will host a charity poker tournament for Boys and Girls Club of Miami. The Texas Holdem tournament will be held on Saturday, with 300 players who will get the opportunity to play poker with celebrities and athletes such as Michael Jordan, Jay Z, Lenny Kravitz, Vin Diesel, Glenn Rice, and Gary Sheffield. The poker legend Phil Hellmuth will provide tips to the players.
The tournament will take place at one of Sothebys International Realty on the private island of Indian Creek Village. The big prize will be a one year lease on a Mercedes-Benz C230WZ, donated by Alex Rodriguez.
In addition to the poker tournament, the event will include a fashion show, a jewelry exhibition and even showgirls and dancers, to complete the gambling environment. The Boys and Girls Clubs of Miami are dedicated to working with kids who come from underprivileged neighborhoods.
