50,000 dollars poker buy-in HORSE contest on July 12-14 instead of July 25.

Harrahs Entertainment had announced Wednesday changing dates for the 2006 World Series of Poker 50,000 dollars buy-in HORSE contest. The biggest buy in contest in the WSOP history, which was supposed to start on July 25 and start 3 days, is now scheduled to July 12-14. The 5,000 dollars buy-in 2-7 draw lowball tournament date was postponed from July 12 to July 25-26.

The WSOP buy-in event dates have been changed in order to supply an improved media coverage for the breaking record event. The 2006 WSOP will contain 45 different poker tournaments. The event will take place in Las Vegas at the Rio All-Suite Hotel and Casino between June 25 and August 10.

The World Series of Poker main event will start at July 28 until July 31 and will contain up to 2,000 participants. Poker players who are qualified for the WSOP main event will be allowed to choose their opening dates.
