Strip poker tournament is planned to be the highlight of University of South Florida students event at a nudist resort located west of Dale Mabry Highway. The strip poker tournament is the idea of a USF intern, Kristy Lucas, who was seeking a way to expose the nudist lifestyle to students.
There are between five and four nudist resorts in Pasco County. According to the Wall Street Journal report, around 100,000 nudists visit Land O Lake area each year. Paradise Lakes Resort expects a large crowd of students coming to the event. The participation in the events is free to USF students and under 25 young people.
The strip poker tournament will be both for couples and for single women. The prizes will be gift certificates for the resort, shirts and logo items. The strip poker tournament is scheduled for Friday 6:30 p.m.
USF spokesperson Lara Wade said it is a promotional event and that has nothing to do with the University.
